Energy and the economy

In the interesting note found in the UT Alumni newletter, this research draws a correlation between energy efficiency in the production and use of energy and expansion in the economy.  Makes sense, and introduces an additional argument for policies that encourage energy that efficient to produce and efficiency in consumption.
